one of my favorite tennis player has retired Rafael Nadal, there so much to say about him but I only going to focus on few that I really appreciated.
he was a humble champion, he never made it about himself, he always shared the light with his opponent if he lost or won.
this is something I never knew about him but when I found this out I literally couldn’t believe it out of all the reasons I like him I never knew this about him but, he never broke a racquet in his career, he never use any negative energy on the court he just focus on the next point, wow that alone is a champion to me, and attitudes like that get you so far and it will help you out a lot.
he was competitive, he put his all in every hit, but still was a kind person and he respected his opponents no matter what they rankings was.
he was a classy, kind, competitive person. his stats, the numbers.
when you watch him play it was something you could take and learn, he showed up to play tennis every single match and we got to see it.
thank you!
