Women's basketball Hall of Fame induction speech

She mentioned she always wanted to be like her brothers
And that it all started with our ancestors and that "we are our ancestors wildest dreams" wow

She mentioned her parents was the first to help her dare to dream What hard work really means

Her mom always told her if she couldn't do it now to keep doing, just work for it more

She talk about her dad and how he was her first coach she said he knew how to push her buttons and challenge her, he would tell her to try to do push up doing commercials and brush your teeth with your off hand to do better with your other hand

She said he put a ball in her hand and made her play point guard and fed her curiosity made her think why? But why not?

She said she did things the unconventional way

She said no matter what jersey she was wearing, winning was the mission

La was always been my home place for basketball because of my favorite player Kobe and Lisa Leslie and then Candace Parker, I always love watching the wnba of course of Lisa but I needed to find another woman player that had it and it was Candace Parker I watch her little bit in college Tennessee volunteers under coach pat summit but I heard she would be with the la sparks that's when I got real excited and really got into her and watching her, her game was so thrilling she was a ball player she knew how to lead the team but also be a team mate as well many games I saw her hyping and encouraging her team mates up when the team was in trouble she was able to help the team out of trouble her knowledge and iq of basketball is unmatched on or off the court not just women basketball but basketball in general basketball period. And if you didn't know she was the first woman to dunk in an NCAA tournament game. After she retired she a commentator and again with the knowledge of basketball I absolutely love her commentating basketball now.
